Overlooking Café, Korean BBQ, Grill and Seafood Resto in Tanay

Indeed, Rizal is home to overlooking restaurants and cafes, yet we recommend you to visit Wyndell’s Alfresco Cafe.

It was a 2-hour drive from Manila, and expect the chilly temperature if you plan to travel early in the morning. Wyndell’s Alfresco Café is the new spot in Tanay, Rizal. Located along Marilaque Highway, they offer a serene place to dine in with an incredible mountain view. Wyndell’s Al Fresco Café is unique compared to the other cafes I visited in Rizal as it has an area for café, samgyupsal, and main dining.

If you simply want to sip coffee or try their cakes, head to the café area just a few steps from the parking lot. There are also more seats available on the second floor, and this is really an ideal spot to witness the beauty of the entire place.

Upon entering, you immediately see the Samgyupsal area. Have a Korean BBQ feast with unlimited meats of your choice? Why not! They offer good options for you such as:

OPTIONS A – 425PHP/head (Includes: Unlimited pork, unlimited chicken, side dishes, soup, and rice)

OPTION B – 595PHP/head (Includes: Unlimited USDA Beef, unlimited pork, unlimited chicken, side dishes, soup, and rice)

But if you want to experience the local favorites and international cuisine, I’d recommend you to dine in at main area. Wyndell’s Al Fresco Cafe offers a wide array of classic Filipino breakfasts, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and salad. Not only that, they serve grilled seafood and sizzling steaks for your ultimate hunger satisfaction.

We ordered Danggit with Egg and Rice, Sausage with Egg and Rice, Fresh oysters, Cappucino Hot, and Cafe Latte Hot. Foods are scrumptious, and I think the price is reasonable – the budget for two is 1000PHP.

One of the perks of dining in the main area is you will get an opportunity to see the lush greenery mountain panorama. It made me feel refreshed and somehow forgot the nuisance of city life. The birds are chirping, the wind is blowing, and the cold breeze makes it perfect.

I’d also like to highlight that it was not accessible by public transportation as you know Marilaque Highway is famous for riders, cyclists and road trippers.
